It’s that time of year, huh? Changing over of the seasons. Eagerly awaiting Spring. (Although, seriously, that was the easiest Winter ever. So I don’t want to hear you complaining, ok?) I’m excited every day to see what’s popping up in my garden though. Because I am that person now. Not sure how it happened, but I’m super ok with it. I planted a bunch of random bulbs last year and I honestly don’t remember what they all are, so every day when I come home I have something to look forward to. I know, it’s a wild ride.

Also, Dan only has 2 1/2 weeks til he’s done his program at Mohawk. Pardon me?? I mean, just goes to show, things can seem like such a big deal, insurmountable even, at the start. But just like that. It’s over. We’ve lived in a space less than 450 sq ft for over 2 1/2 years and still love our little apartment. It’s still functional and cozy and just right for us.

And hey, speaking of transitions, remember when those were a trend in glasses? It’s like, hey, who needs sunglasses when we can just build them into your regular lenses? Except when you don’t want to wear your sunglasses, well that’s too bad. If you’re outside, you will have them or you will be blind. Your choice, ok? My youngest sister had them when Dan and I got married (in here defence, she was only 12 at the time) and all our family photos were taken outside on a very sunny day. So that was super unlucky for her. (To be fair, she’s come a long way since then. I now get her to do my hair and make up because she’s better than me. But no matter how good she is now, there’s no changing those pictures.)

So here’s to Spring, new growth and dying trends that never should have happened in the first place.
